Terms governing use of OptimizePixels, a browser-based image utility from Cyanapps.

These terms govern your use of OptimizePixels, a product and service of Cyanapps. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What OptimizePixels does

OptimizePixels provides browser-based tools for compressing, resizing, converting, previewing, and preparing image files for you to save. The image workflow is intended to happen locally in your browser; source files and processed results are not sent to an OptimizePixels image-processing server.

A working project may be retained as browser site data on your device. This is not cloud storage or a permanent backup, and it may be removed when you clear the project or site data, use private browsing, reset the browser, or the browser manages its storage.

Your files and acceptable use

You are responsible for the files you process and should use only images you own, control, or have permission to use. Check output before publishing, sharing, archiving, or relying on it. Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, malicious, or security-disrupting activity.

No professional advice

The service is a technical utility, not legal, compliance, accessibility, design, or other professional advice.

Availability and third-party services

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free availability. Features, formats, limits, presets, third-party integrations, and advertising configuration may change or be discontinued. Third-party links and services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Intellectual property

OptimizePixels branding, interface, text, and software are owned by the operator or its licensors and protected by applicable law. You retain the rights you already hold in your images; using the service does not transfer ownership of them to us.

Privacy

The Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice explain the separate handling of local image data, privacy requests, cookies, and optional services.

Disclaimers and liability

OptimizePixels is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, warranties are disclaimed and the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, lost profit or data, corrupted files, publishing errors, or reliance on output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You are responsible for loss or claims caused by your unlawful use, your files, or your infringement of another person's rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively to continued use to the extent required by law.
