Privacy Statement

How OptimizePixels handles browser-based images, privacy requests, Turnstile, optional Google services, retention, rights, and necessary correspondence.

OptimizePixels is a product and service of Cyanapps. This notice explains how information is handled when you use the image tool, submit a privacy request, or consent to optional services.

The image optimizer is designed so that image processing happens in your browser. The separate privacy-request form necessarily sends the details you enter to our server so that we can respond.

Your images and browser storage

Images are compressed, resized, converted, previewed, and prepared for you to save by your browser. Source images and processed results are not sent to our server for those operations.

To restore your workspace, the site may store original and processed image files, file details, and optimization settings in the optimizepixels-projects IndexedDB database on your device. This local copy remains under your browser's control until you replace it, clear it, clear site data, or the browser removes it. Clearing only cached page files does not necessarily remove IndexedDB, but clearing OptimizePixels cookies and site data can. Browser storage is not a permanent backup. Site, security, analytics, and advertising data

Our hosting and security services may process ordinary request information such as IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the privacy-request form to distinguish people from automated abuse. Cloudflare says Turnstile may process signals including IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent, sitekey, and origin, but does not access form entries.

Optional analytics and advertising services load only when they are configured and the relevant saved consent permits them. Google advertising is currently disabled. If enabled later, Google services may process online identifiers, device or browser information, IP address, page activity, and consent signals for measurement, ad delivery, frequency control, and fraud prevention. You can change optional choices through Cookie preferences .

Privacy requests

When you submit the privacy-request form, we process your reply email, message, request reference, submission and status timestamps, internal deadline, resolution date, and reminder-delivery state. Your IP address is used transiently for rate limiting and security verification but is not stored in the request record.

We use this information to identify, assess, respond to, and document the request. Our internal target is to review requests within 28 days; this is an operating target and does not replace any different deadline required by applicable law.

Request records remain in the private CMS while open. Ninety days after a request is marked resolved, its email address and message are automatically removed. A non-personal audit entry containing only the request reference and relevant timestamps may remain. Related email correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the request, legal obligations, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of claims.

Service providers and disclosures

Cloudflare: site security and Turnstile bot detection.

Telegram: operational alerts stating only that an OptimizePixels privacy request arrived or is approaching a deadline, with a CMS link. Requester names, email addresses, messages, and internal references are not sent to Telegram.

Google: optional analytics or advertising only when configured and permitted by the applicable consent choice.

Hosting and infrastructure providers: delivery, storage, logging, backup, reliability, and security.

We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or the service. Providers may process information in other countries under the safeguards available for the relevant service and jurisdiction.

Purposes and legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely as applicable on: providing a service or taking requested steps; legitimate interests in operating, securing, preventing abuse of, and improving the service; consent for optional analytics or advertising storage; and compliance with legal obligations when handling rights requests or lawful demands.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to withdraw consent, to receive portable data, and to complain to a competent data-protection authority. Rights are not absolute and may depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

You can clear local image and preference data through your browser. Use the dedicated form below to exercise a privacy right or raise a data-protection concern. We may need enough information to verify and respond to the request.

Security, children, and changes

We use access controls, private server-side storage, bot protection, and limited alert content to reduce risk. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security. OptimizePixels is not directed to children, and the privacy-request form should not be used to submit unnecessary information about a child.

We may update this notice as services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
